The role of Full-Stack Developer within the LGT ILS development team involves developing and operating an in-house portfolio management platform. This platform is crucial for managing investment solutions and integrating with both internal and external data sources. The main day-to-day responsibilities include full-stack development across front-end, back-end, and database layers. This involves working with .NET services, a .NET Web API back-end, and a React/TypeScript front-end. The developer will also be responsible for operating and supporting applications in production, including troubleshooting and occasional Windows Server and IIS administration. Additionally, the role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and development tooling, as well as collaborating with business users to refine requirements and design solutions. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a university degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field. At least five years of professional software development experience is required, with strong hands-on skills in React, TypeScript, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL.NET, and C#. Experience in operating and supporting production applications, including CI/CD and deployment processes, is also essential. Strong verbal and written skills in English are mandatory. Nice-to-have skills include experience with DevExpress/DevExtreme and familiarity with the financial, trading, or reinsurance industry. Familiarity with AI and the efficient use of AI tools in daily development work is also an advantage. German language skills would be beneficial. The role is based in Pfaeffikon (SZ), Switzerland, and offers modern working conditions, including work-from-home options, flexible hours, and a home office allowance.
