Quant Analyst

A Quant Analyst at this firm will focus on building and refining the automated trading platform that underpins the company’s market‑facing strategies. The organization develops sophisticated trading software and relies on quantitative expertise to keep its edge in fast‑moving markets. Each day you will spend the majority of your time coding and constructing systems capable of handling intricate data sets and processes. Your work will span the full lifecycle of trading ideas: conceiving, testing and deploying fresh strategies, fine‑tuning existing ones, analysing market and performance data for deeper insight, and creating tools that automate or streamline routine tasks. Projects can range from a single week to several months, and you are encouraged to shape the approach you take. The position requires a Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Econometrics or a comparable field, earned with top‑tier grades and from a university ranked within the top 200. Academic benchmarks include scores such as CH ≥ 5.5, UK ≥ 70 %, NL ≥ 8.0, DE ≤ 1.6, FR A, IT 110L or equivalents, though the employer also values exceptional abilities beyond grades. Strong competence in mathematical modelling, a sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently are essential. Programming skill is a core daily activity, with C++ preferred but Python or other languages acceptable.
