Index Customer Administration Specialist

The Index Customer Administration Specialist role sits within the Index Services unit, where you will support the Index Business and Sales Support functions. The position bridges customers, data handling, financial products and compliance, and you will work alongside an experienced team that keeps client and stakeholder needs central. Your daily work will involve keeping customer master records up to date, managing contracts, issuing fees and handling dunning, as well as releasing data or services in line with agreements. You will also address compliance, legal and withholding‑tax matters in close contact with internal groups, provide first‑line assistance on index data, financial products, commercial contracts and technical queries, and liaise with international data vendors. Additional tasks include consolidating and monitoring index‑based instruments such as funds and derivatives, shaping and refining work processes, regulatory reporting and documentation, and producing analyses, statistics and reports while taking part in cross‑functional projects and revenue‑driving initiatives. The role requires a completed commercial apprenticeship together with relevant experience in the financial sector. You should demonstrate a strong service mindset, a professional demeanor and clear communication, combined with high accuracy, self‑responsibility and a structured, reliable approach to complex administrative work. Strong organisational abilities, the capacity to prioritise and maintain an overview in a fast‑moving environment, and fluency in German and English are essential; Spanish is a plus. Proficiency with MS‑Office is expected, and SAP knowledge is highly valued.
