This position involves converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders and guaranteeing the timely delivery of goods and services to support operations. The core mission is to efficiently and accurately execute the operational Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. The main responsibilities include managing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and resolving routine operational issues. This involves processing purchase requisitions and MRP proposals into accurate purchase orders in MS Dynamics, obtaining timely confirmations from suppliers, and maintaining accurate data in the ERP system. The role also includes tracking deliveries, expediting orders as needed, and serving as the first point of contact for suppliers regarding operational matters. Additionally, the Junior Buyer will resolve basic operational issues, such as invoice discrepancies and minor delivery delays, and escalate complex issues to the Procurement Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field and 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly MS Dynamics, is essential. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and good communication skills. Fluency in English is a must. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to thrive in a process-driven environment and follow instructions from the Procurement Country lead.
