CUDA Software Engineer - Remote

Join a remote contractor team as a CUDA Software Engineer, focusing on a leading‑edge GPU optimisation effort. The company needs a CUDA Engineering Expert to improve the speed and efficiency of high‑performance GPU kernels, without requiring prior AI background. In this position you will examine and profile GPU kernels, pinpoint performance limits, and apply targeted CUDA and C++ refinements. Refactoring of existing CUDA and C++ sources will aim for cleaner, faster code. You will also create shader routines using GLSL and WebGPU, and record the optimisation steps, results, and insights. Regular input into GPU architecture discussions and close cooperation with distributed, cross‑functional colleagues are expected. Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and clear technical communication are essential for success in a fully remote setting. The role is offered on a contract basis, allowing flexible engagement while working entirely from home. No prior experience in artificial intelligence is required, and the position fits candidates comfortable with independent, remote collaboration.
