Senior Controller (m/f/d)

The opening is for a Senior Controller who will join this global team and help steer financial governance. In this position you will assist in rolling out and refining the Internal Control System, while shaping finance policies, approval routes and control checkpoints. Daily tasks involve reviewing and enhancing core finance workflows, testing internal controls, and ensuring adherence to established procedures. You will keep an eye on accounts‑receivable ageing, support cash‑collection oversight, and manage governance duties during month‑, quarter‑ and year‑end closes. The role also requires preparation of audit documentation, tracking remediation steps, and producing dashboards, KPI and risk‑monitoring reports. Close collaboration with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Business Controllers and other finance partners is essential to boost governance and process efficiency. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in controlling, financial governance, internal controls or finance compliance, together with a clear grasp of finance policies and control mechanisms. Experience with Swiss accounting standards and reporting is required, as is practical work with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable ERP platform. Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving aptitude and effective communication are mandatory. A university degree, bachelor's or master's, in finance, business administration, accounting or a related discipline is expected, and fluency in English is non‑negotiable.
