APCO Technologies specializes in the design and manufacturing of industrial machines for heavy equipment in the naval sector. The company also develops, realizes, and fabricates special machines that integrate robotics, automation, and welding processes. The Technicien Soudeur (H/F) will handle the operational aspects of manual, mechanized, and robotic welding processes, from receiving the metal sheets to completing the welds. They will execute and develop welding procedures as outlined by welding engineers, and perform qualification tests on robotic welding processes under the supervision of these engineers. The role also involves commissioning the welding components of machines in Aigle, participating in final tests with clients, and occasionally interfacing with clients and traveling internationally for machine re-commissioning and user training. Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience as a welder or welding specialist (IWS) working with thick steel plates in heavy industry. Proficiency in welding processes 135 (MAG with solid wire) and 138 (MAG with metal powder-filled wire) in all transfer modes (short-circuit, spray, pulsed) is essential. Additionally, candidates should be skilled in welding in various positions (at least PA, PC, PH) with and without backing. Knowledge of arc welding with flux-cored wire, TIG welding, and related sheet metal techniques such as flame cutting and arc gouging is beneficial. The role requires an open mind and willingness to use new technologies to enhance welding, including robots. Experience with industrial robot environments (welding and cutting) is a plus. Strong adaptability, priority management, and problem-solving skills are crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is highly valued. Was die Stelle verlangt: - 7 Jahre Erfahrung als Schweißer oder Schweißspezialist (IWS) mit dicken Stahlplatten in der Schwerindustrie. - Kenntnisse in den Schweißverfahren 135 (MAG mit Volldraht) und 138 (MAG mit Metallpulver gefülltem Draht) in allen Übertragungsmodi (Kurzschluss, Sprüh, gepulst). - Fähigkeit, in verschiedenen Positionen (mindestens PA, PC, PH) mit und ohne Stütze zu schweißen. - Kenntnisse in Lichtbogen-Schweißen mit Flußdraht, WIG-Schweißen und verwandten Blechbearbeitungstechniken wie Flammschneiden und Lichtbogenfräsen. - Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
