Nurse on-call

The Collège du Léman, part of the Nord Anglia Education network, is a leading international school on the shores of Lake Geneva. It serves a multicultural community of students aged 2‑18 and seeks a Nurse on‑call to safeguard the health of its pupils and staff within the school's Medical Centre. The on‑call nurse will provide safe, high‑quality nursing care during scheduled shifts and respond to emergencies. Responsibilities include assessing health needs, delivering treatment, maintaining up‑to‑date confidential medical records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and school policies. The role also involves acting as a liaison between the Medical Centre and the wider school community, communicating with students, parents, boarding staff and teachers, and supporting health‑education and wellbeing initiatives. Flexibility is essential, as duties may extend into summer camps and other seasonal activities. The position requires a nursing qualification recognised by Swiss law and fluency in both written and spoken English and French at an excellent level. These core credentials ensure the nurse can operate effectively within the multilingual, international environment and meet the professional standards expected by the school. The role is embedded in a team of three school nurses, offering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. While prior experience in emergency and paediatric nursing is highly desirable, knowledge of primary nursing and adolescent health education is considered a strong asset.
