Lead - Anaplan Model Builder

On is seeking a Lead Anaplan Specialist – titled Lead – Anaplan Model Builder – to work from its headquarters in Zurich. The company builds and evolves Anaplan‑based financial planning solutions, giving the new hire the chance to shape both the back‑end and front‑end of those systems while driving fast‑paced innovation. In this position you will take full technical responsibility for the planning models, overseeing everything from back‑end and front‑end construction to the integration of external systems and other Anaplan models. You will manage Anaplan projects from the initial requirements phase through model creation, testing, launch support and ongoing maintenance. Close collaboration with key stakeholders will be required to turn business needs into valuable Anaplan designs, while you also explain technical results and their impact. Model building must follow Anaplan implementation standards, and you will keep thorough documentation to ensure the models remain logical and robust. Additionally, you will mentor users and deliver training to raise their planning competence. The role demands at least three years of experience with business processes, data structures and related systems, and a minimum of five years dedicated to Anaplan model building. Certifications such as Anaplan Model Builder or Solution Architect are valued. A degree or solid knowledge in finance or a comparable field is required, together with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities and a proven track record of stakeholder management in a fast‑changing setting. Experience with relational databases, large data sets, and developer skills in tools like Tableau, Power BI or SQL is also expected. A consultancy background is considered a plus, as is familiarity with relational database concepts.
