Head of Business Engagement, Asia Pacific

The Forum, an independent and impartial organisation with more than five decades of experience linking global leaders, is looking for a Head of Business Engagement for the Asia‑Pacific region. In this senior role you will steer the Forum's partnership agenda across a strategically vital geography, shaping commercial growth and influencing the regional strategic narrative while representing the Forum's mission of fostering dialogue and collective solutions. Your daily work will involve defining and executing a regional partnership plan that aligns with the Forum's long‑term goals. You will lead a high‑performing regional team, ensuring they meet targets for new partner acquisition, retention and portfolio expansion. Building trusted relationships with CEOs, chairs and other senior executives will be central, as will guiding business development across sectors, converting promising opportunities into lasting collaborations. You will also coordinate with heads of industry, centres and other senior colleagues to mobilise cross‑functional expertise, manage regional business planning, oversee portfolio performance and allocate resources with strong governance. The position requires an advanced academic qualification together with at least fifteen years of experience in business development, strategic engagement or stakeholder management, specifically within the Asia‑Pacific business environment. You must have a proven ability to forge senior‑level relationships, translate strategic priorities into tailored engagement plans and drive consultative business development. Demonstrated leadership and people‑management skills, along with excellent cross‑sectoral and cross‑cultural communication, are essential. You also need solid strategic, operational and financial insight, experience in budget and resource oversight, and the flexibility to travel up to forty percent of the time while being present on‑site three days each week.
