Julius Baer, the leading Swiss wealth‑management group, is seeking a Financial Analyst, Performance‑&‑Initiative Manager to support its private‑banking operations across Western Markets and Switzerland. The role sits within the CFO team for these regions and reports to the Head of Performance Management, Business Partnering & Initiatives, working alongside a seasoned group of finance specialists who advise senior regional leaders. The day‑to‑day work revolves around deep quantitative analysis of management‑information‑system data to spot early front‑office trends that affect profit and loss, and to propose concrete actions. You will design, launch and monitor improvement programmes that boost front‑office revenue and profitability, prepare clear and visually compelling presentations for management meetings, and serve as a finance sparring partner for front‑office leaders while liaising with functions such as Accounting, Treasury, Capital Management and Credit. Regular business‑case evaluations and market‑strategy reviews will also feed decision‑making, and you will help refine the performance‑management and reporting framework to track the bank’s long‑term strategy. Candidates must hold a university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a comparable discipline with strong grades, and bring two to three years of relevant experience in banking finance, a financial‑services firm or a consulting practice focused on banking. A solid grasp of private‑banking operations and global markets, excellent slide‑creation abilities, and advanced Excel and data‑handling skills are essential.
