Head of Revenue & Commercial Operations

As Head of Revenue & Commercial Operations you will lead the commercial engine of ANYbotics, a fast‑growing robotics firm that builds autonomous mobile robots for industrial inspection. The company, headquartered in Zurich and employing more than 200 specialists worldwide, serves large asset operators in energy, process and utility sectors, helping them automate hazardous inspections with its legged robot ANYmal. In this hands‑on position you will be responsible for the full spectrum of commercial operations. Your daily work will include owning and refining sales and revenue forecasts, governing the pipeline and ensuring visibility of risk. You will design and enforce sales stages, opportunity standards and CRM discipline, while establishing regular forecast reviews, quarterly business reviews and board‑level reporting. Partnering closely with the CRO, regional leaders and functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and Operations, you will translate go‑to‑market priorities into concrete plans and improve sales effectiveness through new processes and value‑based selling support. The role requires deep, practical experience in revenue, commercial or sales operations within a scaling B2B environment. You must have a proven track record of managing forecasting, pipeline governance and CRM oversight, as well as a history of building or markedly improving commercial processes. Strong commercial judgement and credibility as a partner to senior sales leadership are essential, together with the ability to work across marketing, customer success, finance and operations. You need to be highly analytical, comfortable with data and commercial systems, and fluent in platforms such as HubSpot, Apollo, Clay and SAP, or demonstrate comparable system expertise. The position also demands a hands‑on mindset that lets you move fluidly between strategic discussions, stakeholder alignment, data analysis and detailed process work. Experience with long, complex enterprise sales cycles, hardware‑software businesses that involve deployment and field services, or a background in robotics, industrial automation, AI, IoT or related technical B2B fields is considered advantageous. Familiarity with linking commercial forecasts to production, delivery or revenue‑recognition processes is also a plus.
