Laundry Runner

The Laundry Runner position is part of Four Seasons, a global luxury hospitality brand that delivers memorable experiences to guests, residents and partners. This role is based at the historic Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, a landmark property overlooking Lake Geneva and the Alps, where the team upholds the brand's high‑touch service standards. Each day the Laundry Runner receives, checks and distributes clean linen to rooms, the spa, and food‑and‑beverage pantries. The employee must verify that the quantity on the delivery sheet matches the items returned, flag any mismatches to the Laundry Manager, and confirm that the provider's invoice aligns with the received amount. In addition, the role involves keeping all linen storage areas tidy, maintaining stock levels according to Four Seasons' par numbers, moving used linen to the soiled‑linen area, separating damaged pieces, and returning stained items for re‑treatment. The runner also updates the linen‑tracking sheet, handles manager‑issued clean garments, replaces laundry chemicals when needed, assists uniform attendants during inventories, and supports housekeeping with carpet and furniture destaining as well as deep‑cleaning tasks during the Perfect Room Programme. The employer requires a candidate who can work confidently with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, and who demonstrates strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail. Fluency in French is mandatory, and the applicant must hold Swiss nationality, a Swiss residence permit, or be an EU citizen. These criteria ensure the runner can communicate effectively with internal teams and comply with local employment regulations.
