Operational Risk Officer (6-month contract)

Lombard Odier, a globally recognised wealth and asset manager with a strong emphasis on sustainable investing, is looking for an Operational Risk Officer to join its Group Operational Risk Management team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The firm, operating from more than 25 offices across four continents and managing close to CHF 300 billion, offers a private‑banking environment where the new officer will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of operational risk activities. In this role you will prepare and improve risk‑management reports for governance committees and senior leaders, oversee the recording and follow‑up of operational risk incidents, issues and actions, and support the review and challenge of Risk and Control Self‑Assessments. You will also maintain the tools and data that feed incident management, key risk indicators and other risk‑tracking processes, collaborate with business stakeholders and other control functions across the three lines of defence, and contribute to risk‑related projects and policy development. The position requires two to three years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven experience in producing management information, dashboards and risk reports. Candidates must be able to juggle several priorities, work both independently and as part of a team, and communicate fluently in English and French. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential, and applicants must reside in Switzerland or be willing to relocate. Operational‑risk or control‑function experience is considered advantageous but not mandatory.
