Senior Data Analytics Specialist

The Senior Data Analytics Consultant role involves acting as a trusted advisor for clients and internal stakeholders, supporting the design and implementation of data-driven solutions that enable effective decision-making and business transformation. The main day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and analytical requirements, translating business needs into scalable data and reporting solutions, and leading workshops and requirement-gathering sessions. The role also involves designing and maintaining data models, developing complex SQL queries, and creating enterprise-grade dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. Additionally, the consultant will act as a senior reference point within client engagements, coach junior consultants, and contribute to proposal preparation and business development activities. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or related fields is required. Strong expertise in SQL development, relational databases, and data modeling is essential. Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and semantic model design, is also necessary. Fluency in English and Italian is a must, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Python for data analysis, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, and ETL/ELT frameworks. Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Regulatory Reporting frameworks, as well as experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector, is also beneficial.
