Global Public Affairs Lead - Nutrition, Health and Wellness

Nestlé is looking for a Global Public Affairs Lead for Nutrition, Health and Wellness, based in Vevey, Switzerland. The role sits within Nestlé's worldwide NHW portfolio and reports to senior leadership, working in a permanent, full‑time hybrid model. You will help shape the company's public affairs agenda, reinforcing Nestlé's credibility and influence with the most important external audiences. On a daily basis you will design and steer the global public affairs strategy for NHW, defining advocacy priorities that protect and enhance Nestlé's reputation. You will organise strategic consultations, opinion‑leader labs and stakeholder gatherings that inform the external landscape and enable internal teams to move the NHW plan forward. Building trusted links with public‑health bodies, civil‑society groups, academics and other key partners will be essential, as will translating those relationships into concrete advocacy actions across regional platforms, media events and investor dialogues. You will also act as a bridge between markets, zones and functions, aligning positions, redefining performance indicators and supporting governance bodies, while presenting Nestlé's stance clearly in high‑visibility discussions. Success in this position requires deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and advocacy, especially with governmental, multilateral, policy, civil‑society, investor and nutrition‑focused audiences. You must exercise strategic judgment and diplomatic skill in high‑exposure negotiations and reputation‑critical situations. Strong facilitation and influencing abilities are needed to reconcile differing viewpoints and keep the agenda on track. The role also demands proven collaboration across functions, markets and leadership teams within a global matrix environment, and fluency in English with the confidence to persuade senior executives and external audiences.
