Go QA Lead - Remote

The position is a contract, fully remote role titled Go Quality Assurance Lead, supporting an AI‑focused data services firm that supplies training material to leading artificial‑intelligence developers. The hire will guide the quality and consistency of Go‑related AI training outputs, ensuring that generated code meets the client’s standards for correctness, performance and security. Daily duties involve sampling Go submissions, pinpointing defects, and delivering clear written feedback. The lead will perform code reviews of AI‑produced snippets, debug examples, and assess explanations for accuracy. Communication with trainers and other reviewers occurs through Discord and documentation tools, where updates to guidelines and expectations are shared. Additional tasks include re‑engaging inactive contributors, curating style guides, FAQs, onboarding resources, and helping to refine the overall QA workflow. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or a comparable engineering background, possess strong English proficiency, and have at least three years of professional Go development or related backend experience. A solid grasp of Go concepts—goroutines, channels, error handling, testing, and idiomatic style—is required. Preferred experience includes familiarity with Go tooling (go test, go vet, modules, Docker, Kubernetes), leading remote annotation or QA teams
