Subsystem Owner Oil System (m/f/x)

The Subsystem Owner Oil System (m/f/x) will join Liebherr Machines Bulle SA, a dynamic and independent family‑owned business that designs and builds high‑performance machinery. In this position you will be accountable for the oil subsystem of combustion engines, shaping its technical specifications and ensuring alignment with overall project goals. Your daily work involves defining component specifications and key operating parameters, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to match technologies to project needs, and planning development tasks. You will support FMEA activities, keep DVP&Nr tasks up to date, and follow internal and external engine test programmes. Regular interaction with suppliers will cover technology surveys, component development and tear‑down work, while you lead 8D troubleshooting for the subsystem. Maintenance requirements are defined by you, and you continuously report development status and any escalations to platform and product line management. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and advanced knowledge of combustion engines, DVP&Nr methodology, and troubleshooting. You need more than five years of experience in engine and hardware development, including work with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical engine subsystems. Fluency in English is essential, complemented by good knowledge of French or German. Proficiency with MS Office, strong analytical thinking and proven leadership abilities are also mandatory.
