Head of Product Management Europe

The Aebi Schmidt Group, a global specialist in vehicles for sectors such as airport handling, municipal services, snow removal and agriculture, is looking for a Head of Product Management Europe & Rest of World. Based in Burgdorf (CH) or St. Blasien (DE), the role sits directly under the Head Group Product Management & Innovation and contributes to the European business plan. In this senior position you will own the European product strategy and guide the evolution of all portfolio lines. Daily tasks involve crafting a clear product vision, building multi‑year roadmaps and prioritising innovation investments. You will monitor the full product lifecycle, keeping a sharp eye on profitability and continuous optimisation. Market, competitor and customer insights across Europe and beyond will be gathered, analysed and turned into strategic actions, while close collaboration with sales, R&D, production, operations, marketing and service ensures data‑driven decisions. You will also lead strategic projects that boost market position, such as improving product data management, configurators and digital services, and you will champion a culture of ongoing improvement throughout the product organisation. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or a related discipline and brings several years of international leadership experience in product management. A proven ability to steer strategic transformation within complex, matrix‑structured environments is essential, as is experience handling portfolios of technically sophisticated products like commercial or specialty vehicles. You must be capable of turning a vision into concrete plans and measurable outcomes, and you should have a strong record of building and coaching high‑performing, cross‑functional teams. Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving abilities, a keen sense of cost control, a proactive and resilient attitude, and top‑level PowerPoint skills for executive presentations are also required. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory.
