Johnson Electric Industrial Manufactory Limited, part of the worldwide Johnson Electric Group that designs and supplies electric motors, actuators and motion subsystems for sectors such as automotive, medical devices and robotics, is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on keeping manufacturing equipment and facilities running smoothly through both preventive and corrective actions. Each day the technician will follow SUVA safety rules and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, keep work areas tidy according to 6S standards, and restore machines after any intervention. Tasks include servicing mechanical, electrical (up to 480 V), pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems, as well as vision and control equipment. The person will diagnose faults, repair them quickly, document every step in DIMOmaint, and hand over clear instructions at shift change. Additional duties involve supporting quality issue resolution, executing scheduled maintenance, reporting anomalies, suggesting improvements to machine settings, and taking part in series changes and adjustments to sustain a stable restart and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Applicants must hold at least a high‑school diploma, with a technical qualification in industrial maintenance, electrical technology or mechatronics being strongly preferred. A minimum of three years’ experience in an industrial maintenance setting is required, together with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Familiarity with PLC logic, reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, and using hand, power and diagnostic tools is essential. Candidates should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, handle a fast‑paced environment and occasionally lift heavy items. Shift patterns are split between a weekend team (Friday‑Sunday, day or night) and a weekday team (Monday‑Friday, two 8½‑hour blocks). The position offers a place in a global, inclusive and diverse workforce that values employee growth and ownership. Johnson Electric’s worldwide presence and commitment to innovation provide a supportive setting for professional development while contributing to the company’s mission of improving quality of life through motion technology.
