AI & MLOps Engineering Consultant (Experienced, German-speaking)

The AI & MLOps Engineering Consultant will be involved in the entire lifecycle of projects, both internally and externally. Key responsibilities include consulting, engineering, and training, where the consultant will help clients understand the potential and limitations of data, software, and machine learning engineering. They will also analyze customer requirements, identify best-fit solutions, and implement data pipelines, ML/LLM integrations, and reliability engineering practices. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to solution blueprints and concepts, such as the 'Digital Highway for Data & ML systems,' and act as a thought leader in AI Engineering and MLOps. To excel in this role, candidates must have at least three years of professional experience as a Machine Learning, AI, or Software Engineer focusing on data and ML systems. Familiarity with major data and AI platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku, and IBM Watson, is essential, with certification being a plus. Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and MLOps best practices, as well as data engineering, ML, and Generative AI models, frameworks, and tools, is required. The role also demands a strong interest in the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, code, model, and data pipelines, and the ability to work with various stakeholders. Nice-to-have skills include technical, hands-on experience with programming languages, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud services, REST API, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development methods. Experience in a client-facing or consulting role is beneficial. The role requires fluency in German and English, both written and spoken. Additionally, candidates must have a Swiss passport or a valid EU/EFTA work permit.
