STORE MANAGER (M/W) – 100% Fixed-term contract Permanent opportunity

Fusalp, a heritage brand founded in Annecy in 1952, creates high‑performance ski and city apparel that blends technical innovation with refined style. The company now operates boutiques in premier mountain resorts and major urban centres worldwide. In Aubonne, the brand seeks a Store Manager to oversee a small team of two sales associates and ensure the shop meets its commercial goals. The daily role combines hands‑on leadership with operational oversight. The manager will steer sales, client‑relationship building and key performance indicators, translating data into clear priorities and actions. Presence on the floor is essential: greeting customers, coaching staff in real time and modelling the desired service standards. Responsibilities also include recruiting, onboarding and developing the team, maintaining visual merchandising, handling inventory and cash, and managing opening and closing routines. Close communication with the Country Manager and support functions is required to anticipate issues and follow through on agreed solutions, especially during peak periods. The position demands a proven background in premium or luxury retail leadership. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in a store‑manager‑type role, demonstrating strong commercial insight and familiarity with metrics such as conversion rate, average basket size and units per transaction. An engaging, hands‑on management style that sets clear expectations while remaining active on the shop floor is required. Organizational competence, the ability to prioritize tasks, and ownership of boutique results are essential. Fluency in both French and English is mandatory, together with the willingness to work weekends, public holidays and busy trading times. Additional assets include any extra language skills, prior work in luxury fashion, ski, outdoor or technical apparel, and knowledge of the La Côte/Aubonne retail scene or an established local network. The contract is fixed‑term at 100 % until 31 March 2027, with the prospect of a permanent role thereafter. Compensation consists of CHF 5,500 monthly plus a bonus, and the position offers immediate responsibility for the Aubonne boutique, continuous leadership development, and the chance to grow within an internationally ambitious house.
