Cocos2d Game Developer - Remote

The position is a contract role for a Cocos2d‑x Game Developer, working entirely online. The company is building tools that help artificial‑intelligence models learn the steps developers follow when creating games with the Cocos2d‑x engine. Day‑to‑day duties involve crafting believable development challenges that cover sprite handling, animation sequences, physics interactions, user‑interface elements, and core game logic. You will also formulate concise prompts that reflect genuine coding situations, devise scoring guides to judge solution quality, run the tasks in a simulated setting, and deliver comments that raise the overall standard and uniformity of the exercises. Applicants must have at least two years of hands‑on work with Cocos2d‑x and C++, and a track record of delivering actual 2‑D or mobile games. A solid grasp of the engine’s scene graph, action framework, and asset pipelines is essential, as is the capacity to decompose problems into well‑ordered assignments and to communicate clearly in writing. Additional assets include familiarity with Lua or JavaScript bindings for Cocos2d‑x, experience guiding or reviewing other developers’ code, and any background in AI training or assessment processes. The role offers a flexible schedule of roughly twenty hours each week, fully remote, and gives the chance to shape how AI interprets real‑world game‑development workflows.
