The role of Senior Solutions Architect - Multimodal AI involves working with NVIDIA, a company known for its advancements in accelerated computing and AI infrastructure. The Senior Solutions Architect will focus on multimodal AI solutions, particularly for image and video document intelligence. The main day-to-day responsibilities include developing technical relationships with customers who are building multimodal AI systems. This involves assisting them from the architectural planning phase through to the deployment in production. The role also entails guiding customers on model training strategies across different modalities, such as layout-aware document encoders and spatiotemporal video representations. Additionally, the architect will tackle vision content challenges, including image resolutions and efficient video frame sampling. Another key responsibility is representing customer needs to NVIDIA's product teams, translating field insights into roadmap decisions. Engaging with the developer community through various events and providing reference blueprints is also part of the job. To qualify for this role, candidates must have an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. A proven track record of 7+ years in applied AI/ML, with hands-on experience in document understanding and visual content analysis, is essential. Familiarity with NVIDIA's ecosystem, including TensorRT-LLM, NeMo, and RAPIDS, is required. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as the role involves interacting with research scientists, ML engineers, and business collaborators. Nice-to-have skills include experience in building multimodal AI systems that handle multiple modalities and complex structures. Understanding of retrieval and search systems, as well as optimization of vision encoders for production, is also beneficial. Published work or open-source contributions in multimodal learning can further enhance a candidate's profile. The location for this role is Poland, and the base salary range is 292,500 PLN - 507,000 PLN.
