As the Global Co‑Formulant Chemistry Expert you will oversee the management of co‑formulants to ensure regulatory compliance and help lower supply‑chain risk and cost, supporting both regional and worldwide product registrations. Your daily work will involve gathering and analysing chemical and hazard data to confirm equivalence of substances, keeping co‑formulant records up to date in regulatory systems, and preparing science‑based documentation for submission packages. You will translate regulatory guidance into concrete co‑formulant requirements, contribute to the creation of digital tools for data handling, and coordinate the preparation and delivery of regulatory notifications. Collaboration with the Regulatory, Product Chemistry and Production & Supply teams across the globe will be essential to address compliance challenges and drive innovative risk‑mitigation approaches. The role requires a master’s degree or higher in Chemistry and at least two years of experience in a regulatory setting such as product chemistry or registration. You must be familiar with REACH, CLP, classification rules and safety data sheets, and possess solid knowledge of global product‑registration demands, preferably within crop protection. Proven expertise in chemical data and metadata management—including data quality, governance and cataloguing—is mandatory, as is fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus. Strong interpersonal, collaborative and analytical abilities are also required. Experience in formulation chemistry, supply‑chain or procurement processes is advantageous.
