AT, SLO, CRO Sales Manager m/f/d Flavours and Food Ingredients Distribution

Our client is a long‑established, family‑owned B2B distributor that supplies the food, beverage and cosmetics sectors with high‑quality flavours, colours and other food ingredients. Operating with an extensive international supplier network, the company focuses on modern procurement solutions, technical expertise and sustainable, customer‑centric service. They are now expanding their presence in Eastern Europe and need a Sales Manager (B2B) to lead growth in Eastern Austria, Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary. The role is home‑office based but involves frequent travel across the assigned region. Daily activities include building and maintaining long‑term customer relationships, actively prospecting new B2B accounts, and managing the full sales cycle, from preparing quotations and closing projects to handling contracts and win‑back strategies. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer satisfaction, processing feedback and complaints, preparing sales reports and analyses, and representing the company at trade fairs and industry events. To succeed, candidates must hold a degree in Food Technology or a comparable field and possess proven sales experience with flavours or food ingredients in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia. Excellent German and English language skills are required, as are strong communication, negotiation and analytical abilities. A valid driving licence and a high willingness to travel throughout the region are essential. The role also demands confidence with MS Office and prior experience using an ERP system, together with solid knowledge of the food or beverage industry. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to shape regional business development in a dynamic and supportive environment. During the initial training period you will spend time at the European headquarters and its larger application centre, gaining deeper product and process insight.
