Territory Manager Heart Failure/CardioMEMS - German-speaking Switzerland

Abbott, a worldwide leader in health‑care innovation, develops tools for diagnosing, monitoring and treating heart failure, helping patients regain normal lives. The company’s Swiss Heart Failure division seeks a Territory Manager for the German‑speaking region, ideally based at home within the assigned area. In this position you will independently pursue growth of Abbott’s CardioMEMS programme, aiming to increase product usage, open new accounts and strengthen referral networks. Daily tasks involve crafting and executing detailed territory plans, cultivating relationships with cardiologists, clinic directors and hospital managers, and guiding pricing and contract discussions. You will map patient pathways, support clinicians during implantation and monitoring, deliver educational sessions, and work with marketing and digital teams on campaigns and product launches. Regular reporting, pipeline tracking and compliance with regulatory standards are also required, as is representing Abbott at conferences and workshops. The role demands a bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, engineering or a related discipline, together with proven success in medical‑device or cardiovascular sales. Experience in heart‑failure care, remote‑monitoring solutions or related therapies is preferred, as is a record of expanding accounts and professional networks. Candidates must possess strong commercial insight, data‑driven planning abilities, and excellent communication and influencing skills. Fluency in German and English is essential; additional Swiss languages are a plus. Frequent travel across the territory and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools are expected.
