TE Connectivity is a worldwide industrial‑technology leader that designs and manufactures connectivity and sensor solutions for sectors such as transportation, energy, data centres and automated factories. The Plant Controller role is located on the manufacturing site in Bevaix, Switzerland, and acts as the chief finance partner for the plant, helping leaders meet both operational and fiscal targets. Day‑to‑day duties revolve around providing financial insight and steering the plant's performance. The incumbent will work hand‑in‑hand with the Plant Manager and senior team, delivering analysis for strategic choices, taking part in regular operational reviews and championing a culture of financial accountability. Core activities include building and maintaining forecasts, annual budgets and long‑range plans; preparing profit‑and‑loss projections; and spotting risks or opportunities that could affect results. The role also produces timely financial reports, runs variance analyses, and creates presentation material for weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews. A large part of the job focuses on cost and performance management. The controller supports product costing, runs cost simulations, and leads the yearly review of labour rates, manufacturing rates, lot sizes and scrap assumptions. By analysing manufacturing variances and identifying root causes, the person helps drive productivity improvements and cost‑saving projects. Inventory and working‑capital oversight are also key, with responsibilities for monitoring inventory turns, reviewing reserves, performing work‑in‑process valuation and assisting with physical counts. Capital‑expenditure tracking, asset verification and depreciation forecasting round out the financial stewardship duties, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and audit requirements. The position demands a solid academic foundation and hands‑on experience in a manufacturing finance environment. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or a related field, and bring at least five years of experience in plant controlling, cost accounting or operations finance. Proven expertise in financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis is essential, as is a track record of partnering with manufacturing or industrial operations.
