PwC’s Audit – Career Start Trade, Industries and Services position is an entry‑level associate role within the firm’s Assurance line of service. In this role you will work on financial‑statement audits, aiming to obtain reasonable assurance that the statements are free from material misstatement caused by fraud or error, and you will help prepare the auditor’s report that contains the firm’s opinion. The day‑to‑day work involves collaborating with a range of clients and team members, adapting to differing scopes and challenges, taking ownership of tasks, and consistently delivering high‑quality output that adds value for both the client and the audit team. The position requires a university degree, though the specific field is not stipulated. Core competencies include a solid grasp of accounting and financial reporting standards, auditing methodologies, compliance and regulatory knowledge, as well as strong client‑management, communication and active‑listening abilities. You must be comfortable with data‑related tasks such as analysis, ingestion, modeling, transformation and visualization, and be able to uphold PwC’s code of conduct and independence requirements. Travel up to 40 % may be required, and the role does not offer visa sponsorship.
