Fraud Officer

Swissquote, the leading Swiss online bank, is seeking a Fraud Officer to join their Middle Office, Anti-Fraud & Financial Crime Center team. The company offers trading, investing, and banking services to over 500,000 clients through secure digital platforms. The Fraud Officer will handle various responsibilities, including communicating with the internal customer support team to resolve dispute requests. They will process dispute-related transactions using internal and card scheme systems, such as Visa and MasterCard platforms. The role involves reviewing card transaction monitoring alerts to identify suspicious activity, investigating alerts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The officer will also resolve issues for cardholders, respond to transaction-related requests, and maintain investigation records. Additionally, they will develop a strong understanding of relevant card scheme rules and explore ways to improve fraud strategies. To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least three years of experience in a banking operations department. Proficiency in Visa and MasterCard dispute rules and regulations is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills in both English and French, both written and verbal, are essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities are also required. The ability to think creatively, work within a team, and manage stress under high volumes is crucial. Nice-to-have skills include the capability to think outside the box.
