WinGD, a leading designer of two‑stroke marine engines headquartered in Winterthur, Switzerland, seeks an Expert Technical Support professional to work under its Long‑Term Service Agreements. The company, with roots dating back to 1893, focuses on delivering sustainable propulsion solutions for global merchant shipping and relies on a diverse workforce of more than 420 employees from over 25 nationalities. In this position you will deliver high‑level assistance to operators of WinGD two‑stroke engines, handling inquiries, investigations and troubleshooting in a timely manner. Your duties include performing root‑cause analyses, preparing technical reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will also support product development, collaborate with the WIDE Remote Monitoring Centres, and generate documentation related to technical analysis and product knowledge growth. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field, together with solid experience and understanding of two‑stroke marine engines. Candidates should have a background in technical troubleshooting, performance analysis and remote investigations, as well as a detail‑oriented, analytical mindset. Strong English communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a customer‑focused attitude are essential. Additional assets include prior field‑service exposure or familiarity with WinGD products, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies and ongoing professional development.
