The Trainee Financial Advisory role focuses on financial advisory services, specifically in the areas of financing and investments. The trainee will support the team in handling mortgage and financing mandates, preparing analyses, financial documents, and presentations, and creating financial and asset overviews. The trainee will also manage customer data and activities using Salesforce and gain direct customer contact, albeit with guidance. The role involves learning how independent consulting, bank negotiations, and customer management work together. To qualify for this position, candidates must have a completed degree from a university of applied sciences or a university, or a commercial basic training with a strong affinity for financial topics. They should have an interest in mortgages, pensions, investments, and real estate. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a structured and reliable work ethic, enjoy customer interaction, and possess clear, professional communication skills. Proficiency in German and English is required, with additional languages being a plus. The role is based in Basel and offers the opportunity to work in a small, ambitious team. Nice-to-have skills include a willingness to learn quickly and take on responsibility. The role offers a structured training program, personal mentoring, and the use of modern tools and infrastructure, such as Salesforce.
