Specialist Procurement (m/f/d)

The Specialist Procurement role involves leading and coordinating the procurement of construction, engineering, and planning services both nationally and internationally. The main day-to-day responsibilities include obtaining, analyzing, and negotiating offers, as well as coordinating supplier management and contract finalization. This role also involves soliciting and evaluating subcontractor proposals, conducting bid reviews and negotiations, and preparing and optimizing tender documents. Additionally, the Specialist Procurement will analyze and resolve claims, optimize procurement processes, monitor deadlines, and coordinate supplier activities. Creating cost estimates, tables, charts, and overviews is also part of the job. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a degree in business administration or a technical field such as architecture, civil engineering, or industrial engineering. Alternatively, a technical or commercial vocational qualification with further certification in the construction sector is acceptable. At least three years of professional experience in project procurement is required. Fluency in German and English is essential, with French skills being a welcome asset. Nice-to-have skills include a solid understanding of interdisciplinary pharmaceutical facility and laboratory planning, as well as construction management. Confidence in working with spreadsheets, cost calculations (Excel), and presentations (PowerPoint) is assumed. The role requires willingness to travel to project sites within Switzerland to support on-site implementation.
