Graduate - IT Audit Financial Services

KPMG, a global firm offering a wide range of audit and advisory services, is looking for a recent graduate to join its IT Audit Financial Services team in Zurich. Tasks include assessing authorisation procedures, administrator duties, software development cycles and operational activities across diverse systems, as well as confirming adherence to industry norms and regulatory demands such as outsourcing rules, continuity planning, data‑protection measures and cyber‑security standards. You will also advise clients on shaping robust IT governance frameworks and managing related risks. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and show a genuine interest in information technology, governance, cyber‑security and the regulatory landscape of banking or insurance. The role requires strong analytical thinking, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to varied audiences. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is useful, and prior exposure to frameworks like ITIL, COBIT or ISO/IEC‑27001 is considered advantageous. Fluency in English is essential, while German language skills are a plus. The role is full‑time, based in Zurich, with a start date as soon as possible.
