Lawyer - Corporate / M&A and Real Estate (Geneva)

The firm is expanding its Europe West Law team in Geneva and seeks a Lawyer focused on corporate, M&A and real‑estate matters. With a footprint in more than 150 nations, EY brings cross‑border expertise that deepens the value delivered to both domestic and multinational customers. The appointed lawyer will advise on corporate and merger‑and‑acquisition deals as well as broader commercial law issues. Duties include supporting real‑estate transactions such as acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial leases, and handling selected regulatory or administrative matters. The role covers the full M&A cycle: performing legal due diligence, joining negotiations, drafting and finalising transaction documents like share purchase, financing and shareholders' agreements. You will also prepare client briefings and support post‑closing integration activities. In addition, the lawyer monitors legislative shifts in corporate, real‑estate and commercial law, translates them into actionable guidance, and works with other practice areas, employment, private clients and intellectual property, on complex, cross‑border projects. EY requires candidates to possess a master's degree in law and to be admitted to the bar. Applicants should have between one and two years of relevant experience gained in a law firm, a consulting practice or an in‑house legal department. High proficiency in both French and English is essential for client interaction and internal collaboration.
