The role of Team Lead - Industrial Support Engineering - High Speed Turbochargers (m/f/d) involves building and leading a new team of turbocharger engineering support specialists. This team will support the Swiss factory and supply chain operations, ensuring high product quality and providing technical expertise to global manufacturing partners, with a primary focus on China. The main day-to-day responsibilities include leading a small team of 2–3 specialists, making timely engineering decisions on non-conformance and deviation reports, and providing technical support to global product license holders and manufacturing partners. The role also involves defining and managing relevant KPIs with stakeholders from supply chain quality and factory operations, as well as reviewing and improving current global engineering support processes. Collaboration with supply chain quality and factory teams is essential to strengthen cooperation across organizational boundaries. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or an equivalent field. At least five years of professional experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain quality is required, along with demonstrated people leadership experience. Fluency in English is mandatory. A Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent practical experience in implementing lean projects is advantageous. Nice-to-have skills include proficiency in German and Chinese cultural awareness and language skills, as the role involves working in a German-speaking environment with a strong China interface.
