Head of Revenue (Commission-based): 4WARD.earth

The Head of Revenue at 4WARD.earth will spearhead the commercial efforts of the world's largest independent climate and energy ecosystem. 4WARD.earth has established a vast network of professionals in climate, cleantech, ocean, and energy sectors, spanning 90 cities and over 100 countries. The role involves building and managing the revenue streams from scratch, focusing initially on sponsorship and advertising, with the potential to expand into other areas. The primary responsibilities include developing and managing a sponsorship pipeline across various sectors, handling outreach and closing deals, and creating tiered sponsorship packages. The role also involves designing and testing new revenue products, such as premium memberships or corporate access, and building commercial partnerships. Additionally, the Head of Revenue will structure and negotiate partnership agreements, develop scalable sales processes, and report weekly on pipeline and revenue progress. To excel in this role, candidates must have a proven track record in closing B2B sponsorship, media, or partnership deals, ideally in sectors like media, events, SaaS, or ecosystem platforms. Experience in building a sales pipeline from zero is essential. Strong written communication skills and a persistent approach to follow-up are crucial. The role is commission-based, with a significant equity upside, and requires a full-time commitment. A strong network in climate, cleantech, ESG, or related sectors is a plus. The role offers a clear path to becoming the Chief Revenue Officer as the commercial function grows. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in Europe or the Americas.
