Supplier Quality Engineer Injection Molding EMEA

The Supplier Quality Engineer, Injection Molding EMEA will join Sika, a worldwide specialty‑chemicals leader that creates bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for the construction and industrial sectors. With operations in more than 100 countries, 400 factories and a workforce of roughly 33 000, Sika drives innovative technologies that help make buildings and transport more environmentally friendly. In this position you will assess both new and existing injection‑molding suppliers, turning raw data into actionable insights on trends, improvement opportunities and risk‑mitigation strategies. You will organise and lead internal as well as customer audits at supplier sites, handle supplier‑related complaints, and collaborate closely with procurement and engineering to qualify incoming partners. The role also supports the optimisation of injection‑molding material specifications and continuously improves the related quality management systems. Expect to spend a significant portion of your time on the road, travelling to supplier facilities between 30 % and 50 % of your working weeks. The essential qualifications include a university degree in chemistry or a comparable chemical discipline, solid hands‑on experience in automotive‑industry quality management, and proven familiarity with the VDA 6.3 audit standard. Effective communication, both internal and external, is required, as is fluency in German and English. These core criteria are mandatory for successful performance in the role. Additional assets comprise knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools suite, which is considered a plus rather than a prerequisite. The position offers flexibility regarding the primary office location, allowing you to work from either the Romanshorn (TG) or Widen (AG) site.
