ICT System Engineer (m/w)

Weihrich Informatik operates and maintains systems, offering professional support to users. The role of ICT System Engineer involves managing and optimizing IT infrastructure solutions for clients. The main day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing existing IT systems. This involves administering clients, servers, and their services and applications. The role also includes providing 2nd- and 3rd-level support when needed and taking on responsibility for part of new system projects. To qualify, candidates must have completed a degree or training in IT or have several years of relevant experience. They need advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server and Client, virtualization, backup, and cloud services. Knowledge of AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO/DFS/PRINT, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure is essential. Additionally, strong networking skills, especially with ZyXEL and Fortinet (Ubiquiti is a plus), are required. A valid driver's license (Category B) is also necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience in structuring processes and implementing them qualitatively. The role values entrepreneurial thinking, a passion for technical challenges, and the ability to tackle problems at their root. Initiative, self-reliance, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented approach are also beneficial. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, strong in communication, and has excellent manners and a strong sense of quality. German is the required language, and the candidate should ideally be between 28 and 35 years old. Previous experience in an IT service company and relevant certifications are advantageous.
