Senior AI Risk Manager (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

To support this vision, Swiss Re is seeking a Senior AI Risk Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring that AI initiatives align with the company's risk management standards and governance frameworks. The Senior AI Risk Manager will oversee risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for AI projects across Swiss Re. This involves collaborating with various teams, including project leaders, senior executives, and specialist functions. The role requires a deep understanding of AI risks and the ability to provide clear, actionable advice to senior management. The manager will also ensure that AI solutions are deployed within the company's risk appetite and governance standards, monitoring performance and escalating any significant deviations. To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least eight years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, with a strong background in risk management or related control functions. Practical experience in major transformation programs and a solid understanding of AI risks are essential. Proficiency in assessing business cases and financial assumptions is also required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising senior executives and translating complex issues into clear recommendations. Additional desirable skills include the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively are also valuable. The role is based in Switzerland and offers a hybrid work model, with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.
