Our client, IQVIA, is a global leader that provides clinical‑research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to life‑science and health‑care organisations. They are looking for a MedTech Device Field Service Engineer or Technician who will install and configure automated medication‑dispensing hardware in health‑care facilities across the United States. The role is flexible and part‑time, offering a clear path for technical and leadership growth within a fast‑moving medical‑device environment. On a typical assignment you will organise, test and assemble the dispensing systems, handling both the mechanical hardware and the associated software. You will review schematics, drawings and logistics documents to prepare each installation, perform routine checks, record test data and verify that every step meets quality‑compliance standards. Collaboration is essential: you will work with a support team, coordinate project timelines and respond to customer needs while maintaining accurate documentation of the work performed. The position requires a Matura diploma and at least one year of hands‑on experience with electronics, hardware, software or mechanical components. Fluency in both English and German is mandatory, as is professional business acumen and strong communication abilities. You must be comfortable using basic software tools and Microsoft operating systems, and you need to satisfy hospital vendor‑credentialing requirements, which include up‑to‑date immunisations. An unrestricted driver's licence, a personal vehicle and the willingness to travel locally, regionally and nationally are also required, as the job is assignment‑based with open availability Monday through Friday. While the core requirements are non‑negotiable, the posting notes that military veterans with an electronics‑related MOS are encouraged to apply, and the ability to work independently in customer settings with minimal supervision is considered a plus. The role is per‑diem, with travel time and mileage compensated, and it is suited to candidates who can be based within 30 miles of a major airport. Physical demands include the ability to sit and stand for extended periods and to lift up to 50 lb. What the role asks for: - Matura Diploma - Minimum 1 year electronics/hardware/software/mechanical experience - English proficiency - German proficiency - Professional business acumen and communication skills - Basic software and Microsoft operating‑system proficiency - Active unrestricted driver's licence and personal vehicle - Ability to travel nationwide and meet hospital credentialing (vaccinations)
