Consulting Associate – Innosight Strategy & Innovation (Zurich, Switzerland)

Innosight is a worldwide strategy consulting firm that helps leading organisations shape their future through growth strategies, innovation capabilities and new‑growth initiatives. As a Consulting Associate you will join the Zurich team and work directly with senior leaders of Global 1000 companies, applying the firm's disruptive‑innovation expertise to real‑world business challenges. Your everyday work will centre on strengthening team dynamics, taking full ownership of one or more workstreams and delivering client‑ready outputs. You will collaborate with engagement teams to craft and refine strategic recommendations, break down complex problems, plan analyses and manage timelines. The role also involves producing polished presentations and reports, presenting insights confidently to clients, and conducting primary and secondary research to extract key implications. Additionally, you will apply Innosight's proprietary tools and emerging technologies, including generative AI, to enhance recommendations and support internal business‑development activities. The position requires at least two years of experience delivering strategy work either in a top‑tier consulting practice or within an internal corporate strategy, corporate development or transformation function. A bachelor's or master's degree with strong academic results is essential, as is the ability to structure ambiguous problems using data‑driven methods. Fluency in English, advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel, and excellent written and oral communication are mandatory. The role also demands a proactive, self‑motivated attitude and meticulous attention to detail to ensure high‑quality deliverables. Beneficial but not required are familiarity with generative‑AI concepts and tools, experience applying AI to client solutions, and industry background in sectors such as industrial, materials, financial services or life sciences (including MedTech). Proficiency in German or another major European language is a plus. The position is based in Zurich with a hybrid model that expects 2‑3 days on‑site per week, and travel may be required depending on project needs. Candidates must be able to obtain Swiss work authorization and be ready to start in Q1 2027.
