KPMG is looking for an Assistant Manager to join its Audit Financial Services team in Geneva. The firm delivers a wide range of audit and advisory solutions, helping clients navigate complex business transformations and sustainability challenges. As part of a purpose‑driven organisation, you will contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on the financial sector and broader society. In this position you will examine both consolidated and individual financial statements of banking institutions, ensuring they meet international and local accounting frameworks such as IFRS. You will evaluate the robustness of internal controls across core banking activities, including payment processing, mortgage lending, and the valuation of financial instruments. The role also involves guaranteeing adherence to legal and regulatory standards, participating in specialised regulatory reviews, and overseeing the planning and execution of audit assignments while directing junior staff. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a comparable discipline, and possesses a Swiss CPA or an equivalent audit credential. You should have accumulated four to five years of audit work with domestic or cross‑border banks and asset managers, demonstrating a solid record of leading audit missions and supervising teams. Fluency in French at a native level and strong command of English are required, as is the ability to drive results with an entrepreneurial mindset. The role is based in Geneva with a workload ranging from 80 % to full time, and offers a flexible hybrid working model.
