Fragrance Sales Specialist

As a Fragrance Sales Specialist you will join Harding+, a prominent cruise‑retail operator that partners with cruise lines and top brands to stock boutique spaces at sea. The company’s onboard stores showcase a curated selection of fragrance, beauty, fashion and other luxury items, and have been honored as Cruise Retailer of the Year multiple times. In this role you will live and work on cruise ships, meeting travelers from across the globe and helping to shape a warm, lively shopping atmosphere. Your daily duties will revolve around using scent expertise to spark conversations, guide guests toward personal fragrance choices, and present new launches, signature scents and gift ideas. You will hand out testers, demonstrate products, and turn casual browsing into confident purchases, while also supporting onboard events, seminars and promotional drives. When traffic slows, you will refresh your product knowledge, arrange displays, restock shelves and assist teammates, maintaining a guest‑focused rhythm whether the boutique is bustling or quiet. The position requires proven experience in selling fragrance, beauty or premium retail goods, along with the ability to generate excitement through sampling and clear demonstrations. Strong face‑to‑face sales techniques, a drive to meet targets, and confidence in handling events are essential. You must be resilient, adaptable to a dynamic environment, fluent in English, and possess a reasonable level of physical fitness; speaking additional languages is considered a plus. Beyond the core responsibilities, the role offers a competitive salary with performance‑based commission, onboard accommodation and meals, and assistance with visas and seafaring paperwork. Contracts last up to six months, typically followed by a month or two of shore leave, and you will have the chance to travel worldwide while receiving dedicated training in sales, product and brand knowledge.
