Janitor - Full Time - Fixed Term - Medex

Extendicare Medex is seeking a Full‑Time Janitor on a fixed‑term basis to keep its Ottawa long‑term‑care facility clean, safe and welcoming for residents and staff. The position involves caring for resident rooms, common areas, washrooms and support spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting high‑touch surfaces, restocking supplies and disposing of waste in line with infection‑control standards. The successful candidate will have previous janitorial experience, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, be capable of working independently and possess a current Ontario WHMIS/OSHA certification. Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred, and the role offers the satisfaction of contributing directly to seniors' comfort and health while joining a committed care team.
