Lead Commodity Manager

The Lead Commodity Manager role is part of GE Vernova, a global provider of gas‑powered heavy‑duty equipment. In this position you will be responsible for the electrical commodity portfolio that supports the New Units business segment, helping to build supplier panels that meet or exceed the company's standards and negotiating contracts that align with project goals. On a daily basis you will oversee the commercial side of purchase orders for the assigned commodities, shape supplier strategy, select vendors for quote requests, lead negotiations and involve the global commodity leader on strategic items. You will also verify that chosen suppliers can satisfy all GE Vernova requirements, handle order changes, manage claims related to delivery or quality, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and resolve complex issues. The role requires a knowledge level equivalent to a bachelor's degree (or a high‑school diploma with relevant experience), proven experience in sourcing and commodity management, and fluency in English.
