Account Analyst, South Asia

The Account Analyst, South Asia role is part of the World Economic Forum, an organization dedicated to improving global issues through public-private cooperation. The Forum engages leaders from various sectors to shape agendas and drive initiatives. The Account Analyst will support Account Managers in enhancing engagement with partner organizations and improving their experience across Forum activities. This role focuses on business engagement operations, ensuring efficient day-to-day administration and maintaining high data quality. The main day-to-day responsibilities include supporting account management by facilitating onboarding for partners, preparing agendas, coordinating with relevant teams, and handling logistics. The role also involves event-related support, such as tracking registrations, managing event queries, and scheduling bilateral meetings. Additionally, the Account Analyst will maintain accurate account data, manage contracts and invoices, and provide operational support to the Director of the Region. This includes planning and executing special projects, tracking timelines, and monitoring industry developments to advise on regional business strategy. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics, Management, or a related field. They should have at least one year of full-time experience in a business development or relationship management role, preferably in a fast-changing environment. Knowledge of the business and political landscape of South Asia is essential. Proficiency in sales cycle management, account management, and market research is required. Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills, along with strong attention to detail, are crucial. Candidates must also have excellent verbal communication skills to manage expectations of senior stakeholders. Nice-to-have skills include experience with AI solutions, particularly Chat GPT and Slack. Proficiency in working with MS Office and Salesforce is a must, with experience in other CRM tools being a plus. The role requires the ability to work on-site three days per week.
