Mobile Mapping Operator

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field‑data collection firm founded in 2017, operating across Europe and North America. The company gathers non‑automated data, counting features, photographing, video‑recording, capturing speech and scanning environments, to support informed decisions. As a Mobile Mapping Operator you will drive a vehicle equipped with a roof‑mounted 360° camera system that records street‑level imagery for one of the world's leading online maps. Your daily work consists of following pre‑defined routes through public streets, commercial districts and historic sites, capturing high‑quality images. When weather degrades image quality you may need to revisit locations to meet the project's standards. The assignment runs for at least eight months and covers several city or state zones. The role requires a strong enjoyment of driving, solid knowledge of the local area and traffic patterns, and a reputation for responsibility and reliability. Work hours are Monday to Friday, eight hours per day (40 h weekly) with the possibility of additional time if needed. TSMG's field teams operate throughout Europe and North America, prepared to tackle new challenges. The 360‑camera rigs store captured images on onboard computers, later feeding the mapping platform that powers a leading global map service. What the role asks for: - Enjoys driving - Familiar with local area - Understands traffic trends - Highly responsible and reliable - Willing to work beyond 8 hours if required (nice‑to‑have)
