Temporary Global Procurement Buyer

La Prairie, the luxury skincare label within the Beiersdorf Group, is looking for a Temporary Global Procurement Buyer who will oversee the sourcing of marketing materials, visual‑merchandising items and set packaging for the La Prairie and Chantecaille brands worldwide. The position is based in Zürich and runs until 31 January 2027, with an immediate start. In this role you will drive the end‑to‑end procurement process for the assigned categories. Tasks include arranging supplier competitions, issuing and managing RFI/RFPs, assessing bids, and turning project needs into clear sourcing specifications. You will compile and present bid outcomes to aid decision‑making and collaborate with internal stakeholders to define purchasing requirements while adhering to best‑practice procurement standards. The ideal candidate holds a commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification and brings two to three years of procurement or supply‑chain experience in an international setting. Strong analytical, communication, organisational and negotiation abilities are essential, as is the capacity to handle several projects simultaneously. A proactive, service‑oriented mindset, team‑spirit, adaptability to a multicultural environment, solid digital skills with MS Office, and fluency in written and spoken English are required.
