Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions

Elastic is the Search AI Company that lets organisations tap every piece of structured and unstructured data in real time. Its Elastic Search AI Platform, adopted by more than half of the Fortune 500, blends precise search with generative AI to accelerate outcomes. The business offers cloud‑based solutions for search, security and observability, helping customers protect data while unlocking AI‑driven value. The Senior Product Manager (XDR), Security Solutions will take ownership of a core segment of the XDR roadmap. Day‑to‑day you will steer detection, correlation, incident creation and response features across endpoints, cloud workloads, identity services and networks, guiding them from initial concept through release and continuous improvement. You will also expand the telemetry sources and integrations that XDR relies on, linking Elastic's own data with third‑party EDR, cloud, identity and network feeds to enable cross‑environment correlation. In this role you will translate threat research from Elastic Security Labs and direct customer feedback into clear, actionable product requirements that engineering can act on without further clarification. You will serve as the product's voice with senior security stakeholders, gathering insights from customer conversations and feeding them back into the development cycle. Collaboration with engineering leads and the Security Labs team is essential to ensure high‑quality specifications and to influence exposure and vulnerability management priorities. The position calls for a product manager who is prepared to own a substantial product area in a fast‑moving security space and who aspires to broaden that ownership over time. Success depends on the ability to craft precise requirements, engage senior security audiences, and work closely with engineering and research partners. No specific language, certification or location details are mentioned, and the description does not list additional benefits or growth programmes. What the role asks for: - Ready to own a core XDR product area - Ability to write clear, actionable requirements - Experience engaging senior security stakeholders - Willingness to expand ownership over time - Nice-to-have: experience with cloud‑to‑on‑premise deployments
